As part of Better Together Scotland's Patient Experience Programme, the Scottish Government has commissioned a range of independant research organisations to undertake research with NHS Patients and NHS Boards.

Some of this work has been to understand what NHS Boards would like to see within the Better Together Programme.

Other aspects of this work has been to understand what is important to NHS Patients about the care they receive. This work has included inpatients, people registered with a GP and children under 16 and will help inform the surveys which the Better Together Coordination Centre is developing and to help NHS Boards highlight areas for improvement.
