We want to encourage you to share your story on this website, but you need to do this in a responsible way. We therefore have an acceptable use policy which will be applied to any story you share. Please adhere to there guidelines when submitting your story.
All stories submitted are moderated in advance of being made public. There will be a time delay between submission and posting of about a week. Anything that is abusive, indecent, unlawful or defamatory will not be displayed. Individuals are personally liable for the comments they submit.
We reserve the right to remove any story posted on this site, whether it contravenes this policy or not, we will not inform you of any removal, or comment on it. By posting your story, you agree to permit us to check its content and remove that story if necessary. If you post any inappropriate material we are obliged to disclose it if we receive a court order or threat of legal action.
Better Together will pass all your story, whether they are published or not, onto the NHS Board where you received your treatment for information. However, you cannot make a complaint about NHS services or staff through the programme. Please download NHS Complaints leaflet which explains how to make a complaint to the NHS.
Your story may be used by the Better Together Programme for analysis, publication or events. By posting your story you agree to permit us to use your story for these other purposes.Your email address /name will not be used in the publication of your story. Your email will only be used by the Better Together Coordination Centre for administrative purposes and will not be sent to your Health Board.
