Focus Groups with Children and Young People

This research examines the aspects of healthcare that Scottish chilidren and young people view as important. The research includes the views on all aspects of healthcare including hospital and primary care.

The results of this research will be used to help design a range of instruments which will gather the views of children and young people about the services which they receive.

Focus Groups with Patients

This research examines the aspects of their health care that Scottish patients view as being important. The research includes the views of hospital inpatients, people with a long-term health condition and the views of people about general practice services.

The results of this research will be used to help design a range of instruments which will gather patients’ experiences of healthcare as inpatients,users of GP services and people with long-term conditions.

Survey of the Public Regarding GP Services

Research was commissioned by the Scottish Government to support the development of the General Practice (GP) module of 'Better Together: Scotland’s Patient Experience Programme.'

The aim of the research was to collect information and views from a representative sample of the Scottish population regarding their expectations and priorities for the provision of GP services. Findings will be used to inform the development of a Scottish GP patient survey.

 

Survey of the Public Regarding Inpatient Services

Research was commissioned by the Scottish Government as part of Better Together Scotland’s Patient Experience Programme. The objectives of this work were to establish a hierarchy of importance of issues to Scottish patients receiving hospital inpatient care and to test for differences in priorities among demographic groups.

The results will be used to inform the development of tools to measure patient experiences across Scotland.
