Measuring Experience

The aim of the Measuring Experience sub-group is to support the Coordination Centre. It designs the tools and guidance which NHS Boards and General Practices will use to collect patient experience information from inpatients, people with long-term conditions and users of general practices.

This information will be used by the programme to compare what patients and carers want (which has been collected through the Building on Experience sub-group) to how they experience services.

This information will then be used by NHS Boards to improve services for the benefit of all.

The Learning from Complaints and Building on Experience working groups report in to this sub-group.
