NHS Forth Valley employs around 8,000 staff from a wide range of professional and support occupations in two acute hospitals, six community hospitals and 56 health centres.
It covers a population of nearly 300,000 and covers a geographic area from Killin and Tyndrum in the north and Strathblane and Bo'ness in the south.

NHS Forth Valley is governed by a Board of Directors and is accountable to the Minister for Health and Community Care through the Scottish Government. The Board controls an annual budget of £421 million and is responsible for providing health services and improving the health for the population of Forth Valley.
NHS Forth Valley is a single integrated system comprising acute hospital services and community based services, which are delivered through three Community Health Partnerships in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling.
